Is Sugar really that bad?

In our last installment we discussed DNA and how it ultimately affects all life force within our bodies. If DNA is our Chef and Mom and Dad give us the recipes, where do the ingredients come from? You are what you eat and your DNA is your Chef. So, who brings in your ingredients? You do!

What you consume is used by your DNA Chef to build your body and fuel your 100 trillion cells, your Rocket Ship. Everything we eat is broken down into the 3 Macronutrients: protein, fat and sugar.

Proteins are the building blocks of everything we are made of. If we don’t eat sufficient protein, we cannot build a strong, healthy body. Everything from our muscles to our organs, from our skin to our hair, and even the antibodies that make up our immune system are all made of protein. It is imperative to ensure you are bringing in enough quality protein to build a strong, healthy body and grow thick, healthy hair. Dr. Nettles recommends at least 100 grams of absorbable protein per day. (more on this in next week's installment)

Dr. Nettles explains “We are each made up of 100 trillion cells. Each cell wall is made of fat (or cholesterol). If your diet is bringing in bad fats, what do you think your cell walls will be made of? Cells made of Bad Fats don’t operate as effectively as cells made of good fats.”

Sugar aka Carbohydrates should be consumed in limited quantities just sufficient to fuel our Rocket Ship. Too much sugar has many negative side effects.. When you consume more carbohydrates than you need to fuel your Rocket Ship each day, your body will store it as fat.

Dr. Nettles adds “Carbohydrates are broken down by the body into their elemental units of carbon, oxygen and hydrogen. Excess hydrogen ions, or free radical hydrogen molecules will disrupt the bodies natural P.H. and unbalance our biochemistry.”

An unbalanced biochemistry can lead to serious health effects such as lowered energy levels, decreased libido, hair loss and even life halting illnesses such as cancer.

At the True Hair Company, your Stop and Regrow Program consultation includes analysis of your Biochemical Report Card. Your BRC uses an extensive series of labs which provides you with a detailed breakdown of your diet and genetics. From your BRC Dr. Nettles can identify both how well you are doing at bringing in the right foods to fuel your rocket ship and how well your DNA Chef you inherited from your Mom and Dad is operating. You will receive recommendations on how to improve your diet to optimize your health and longevity, while simultaneously using epigenetics to fine tune the recipes your chef uses to build what you are made of. This will allow you to grow/regrow your own hair naturally. The way nature originally intended.

You can book your consultation, which includes interpretation and analysis of your Biochemical Report Card, by calling (310) 601-4778 or book online here.

Stay tuned for the next installment as we discuss “ the impact of anti-nutrients on the digestibility of protein.”

Platelet-Rich Plasma is not the cure for hair loss. PRP works to stimulate hair growth, kind of like a stronger, more natural Rogaine. In fact, although the success seen by the approximately 65% of the very few patients who have experimented with it so far is higher than the number who also temporarily see success from Rogaine, it is just like Rogaine, short-lived in its effect.
