Why Stop and Regrow?

Preventing hair loss is just as important as regrowing hair.  Take a sneak peak inside Ricky's part 1 assessment appointment as we learn why hair regrowth is important to him.

Baseline Pictures Are Important

A very vital part of your hair regrowth program involves comparing pictures side by side to track your hair regrowth progress.

As such the baseline pictures we will compare against are the most important pictures of all.  Watch as one of our consultant's Emelda reviews new virtual client Ricky's pictures and provides feedback on additional photos for him to take.

Part of our Assessment Part 1 appointment includes learning about why and how Dr Nettles dedicated his life to finding all the causes of hair loss and then creating his program to first diagnose and then successfully treat each person's unique causes of hair loss.

Plato says: "Necessity is the mother of invention."

Dr Nettles adds: "Man makes jobs, but God gives Purpose - Physician, health thyself."

Dr Nettles knew that he would need to cure his own hair loss before he could treat anyone else.  And so he did!

The 5 Zones of Hair Loss

Watch and listen in as one of our hair regrowth consultant's Emelda talks through Dr Nettles 5 zones of hair loss.

Part of our part 1 assessment includes reviewing your pictures to determine the type of hair loss you have and which of the 5 zones are impacted.

Microscopic Scalp Review

Part of our Assessment Part 1 appointment if you make it into our office in person is a microscopic assessment.  This is particularly useful to diagnose stress related hair loss types and also if you have had a transplant to see if you have viable hair follicles to regain density between the transplanted hairs.

Listen in as Dr Nettles talks with one of our clients about the Rocketship you inherit from your parents and how the nutrition choices you make combine with your DNA recipes from your parents to make up you.

In Office Microscopic Review

If you are able to make it into our Los Angeles office you will experience the microscopic evaluation of your scalp.

This is particularly helpful to diagnose Telogen Effluvium and if you have had a transplant to determine whether there are viable hair follicles still alive between the transplanted hairs which can regrow to regain density.

Unfortunately it's rare to get much more than 50-60% density of transplanted hairs.  Many clients come to us after discovering that the transplant procedure dramatically speeds up hair loss in the transplanted area.

You cannot plant transplant hairs as close together as they grow on their own, and a transplant does not stop the ongoing hair loss process.

Platelet-Rich Plasma is not the cure for hair loss. PRP works to stimulate hair growth, kind of like a stronger, more natural Rogaine. In fact, although the success seen by the approximately 65% of the very few patients who have experimented with it so far is higher than the number who also temporarily see success from Rogaine, it is just like Rogaine, short-lived in its effect.
