Pain Free PRP

Whilst PRP is simply another evolution in the history of hair growth stimulants, it is a progression towards a more natural approach to hair loss treatment.

Pain Free PRP Therapy for Hair Loss? Better Than PRP

If you have heard the buzz about PRP therapy for hair loss, you have probably also heard that it is extremely painful. So painful in fact that many patients request either local or even general anesthetic to avoid it.

Whilst PRP is simply another evolution in the history of hair growth stimulants it is a progression towards a more natural approach to hair loss treatment.

PRP is sourced from a patient’s own blood, which is taken and then treated in a centrifuge so that only the enriched cells or platelets and essential growth proteins remain. The theory is that these enriched cells and growth proteins can help kick start the healing process of the cells it is applied to and assist them to heal or regenerate faster.

The majority of success with PRP as a treatment for hair loss seen to date is actually in support of hair transplant surgery rather than the cure for hair loss itself.

What PRP has been able to achieve is stimulation of the hair follicle for a short term spurt in hair growth. It does not stop the underlying cause of your hair loss.  In order for any PRP induced growth to be continued, the treatment of injections to all the affected areas of the scalp need to be repeated every 3-4 months. Additionally in order to cure hair loss, it would need to be combined with a solution that both stops excessive DHT production and restores the body's hormone balance to optimal levels.

PRP cannot revive hair follicles that have already died and also does not fight the DHT which will eventually beat it.

What if there was a true solution to thinning hair? A cure for hair loss would need to understand an individual’s personal DNA and biology to include therapy which reduces DHT to normal levels and thus prevent the DHT from suffocating your hair follicles without causing the side effects which can result from too much DHT reduction. It would also need to include a pain free PRP solution which stimulates hair regrowth and provides the hair follicles with the nutrients or fertilizer they need to grow long, thick and strong naturally.

As per my previous article " Better Then PRP ", only a solution which contains both actions: to reduce DHT and to stimulate hair growth can cure hair loss. This is the solution I have spent the last 25 years of research and 10 years of clinical trial and error, including with PRP, perfecting.  I named it STOP and ReGROW.

STOP and ReGROW works exactly as its name states. It stops hair loss – by reducing DHT to normal levels, and regrows hair using a proprietary hair growth formulation designed to work with your personal biology, not against it.

An important point to note above is that Stop and Regrow is formulated to reduce DHT levels back to NORMAL and not beyond. During my research I discovered that sexual side effects caused by some hair loss medications on the market are the result of using a standard dose of medication across all patients. What I found is that hair loss treatment cannot be a one size fits all situation. Each person’s hormone levels are different and thus the amount of medication required to bring it back into balance will also be different. Stop and Regrow is a PERSONALIZED approach to medicine.

Platelet-Rich Plasma is not the cure for hair loss. PRP works to stimulate hair growth, kind of like a stronger, more natural Rogaine. In fact, although the success seen by the approximately 65% of the very few patients who have experimented with it so far is higher than the number who also temporarily see success from Rogaine, it is just like Rogaine, short-lived in its effect.
