Could Photo-Avalanching Lead To a New Cure for Hair Loss?

We Need To First See Inside Our Genes Before We Can Edit Them

New Cure for Hair Loss 2021

You have heard of x-ray technology – which was developed over 50 years ago and enables doctor’s visibility inside our bodies to see what we are made of – bones, organs, tendons, etc.

You may even have heard of x-Ray crystallography – a more recent development in x-Ray technology which allows scientists to see what we are made of at an even more micro level – that of our enzymes which are responsible for carrying out all the functions within our bodies – think digestion, replacing cells and creating hormones for example.

X-Ray crystallography is also the technology which allows Dr Ray Nettles to see the inherited defects which impact about 70% of men and 40% of women leading to hair loss. Using X-Ray crystallography, Dr Nettles is able to see the shapes of our enzymes, identifying those which have missing piece defects. This same visibility also allows him to measure those defects and so determine the ingredients required to repair them and thus restore our natural biochemical balance. When our bodies are operating at optimal biochemical balance (how nature intended) we see that symptoms caused by imbalance (such as hair loss, fatigue, difficulty to build muscle, low libido, amongst others) stop getting worse.

The next step beyond repairing our inherited defective enzymes is visibility of the genes which are producing these enzymes on a daily basis.  Research coming out of Columbia University recently provides hope that this visibility may not be that far away.

James Schuck the PHD student leading the research into nanomaterials (which are 10 times smaller than the width of our DNA), has developed the first nanomaterial that demonstrates “photon avalanching”, where photons demonstrate very large non-linear amplification properties. This new material could lead to new applications in sensing, imaging and light detection of the very smallest particles - not ever seen before.

For Dr Nettles this means that with this technology he could at some point see inside the DNA that are producing the defective enzymes which are causing our bodies problems - to understand what can be done to change or repair those – getting to the real underlying root cause of the hair loss conundrum and creating a true cure.

While this may still be many years away, in the interim his Stop and Regrow program as it is today repairs the enzyme defects created by our DNA, and supported by his precision medicine program and holistic approach works every time to both Stop hair loss and Regrow thinning hair. Remember that unless you stop what is causing hair loss, no amount of therapies which solely regrow – like current fad treatments PRP and stem cell therapy, will work long term.

Platelet-Rich Plasma is not the cure for hair loss. PRP works to stimulate hair growth, kind of like a stronger, more natural Rogaine. In fact, although the success seen by the approximately 65% of the very few patients who have experimented with it so far is higher than the number who also temporarily see success from Rogaine, it is just like Rogaine, short-lived in its effect.
