How Long Does Hair Regrowth Take?
How Long Does Hair Regrowth Take?

We often get asked here at Stop and Regrow about how long hair regrowth takes. Lets take a look at Joe's case. Joe just came back to see us for his 3 year evaluation.
Joe is a 37 year old male from Southern California who is showing great success on our program. Joe started receding in the temples and front first. After a couple of years he noticed his crown was thinning too.
When hair regrows, it comes back the opposite of the way it went. So in Joe's case the regrowth happened in the crown first, then thickened up and filled in on top of his head and finally started growing back forward in the front and temples.
What Should You Expect?
Joe's timeline is typical of what we normally see:
- First 3 months - rebalancing biochemistry, improved nutrition and overall health
- By 3-6 months: hair loss stops getting worse
- By 6-9 months: we start to see visible hair thickening
- 12 months: more hair than when you started the program
- 12-18 months: the last areas to thin -for Joe this was his crown- should be starting to fill in.
On average across all our clients we see complete hair regrowth taking up to 1/3 to 1/2 the time it took to get to where it is now.
This is why it is so much better to start early and prevent the hair loss if you can, rather than putting of the inevitable for years.
These pictures you see of Joe are on the left from when he first started at the end of 2017. The pictures on the right are from his recent 3 years annual review.
